Imagine finding a mysterious stone that deciphers an ancient language! In 1799, French soldiers discovered the Rosetta Stone in Egypt, which contains the same text in hieroglyphics, Greek, and Demotic. Thanks to this stone, scientists were able to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphs – solving a very ancient puzzle! In this workshop, you create your own translation stone out of clay. You carve signs and symbols into the clay and add their meanings in different languages. Once home, you can explore these new languages.
