We are delighted to announce the upcoming visit of Alexandra Koszelyk to our bookstore for the release of "Pages Volées". We will also discuss her previous novels during an exclusive interview. This meeting will be followed by a book signing session.
"When entire pages of your life have been stolen from you, how do you find them again if not by writing? Alexandra's parents die in a car accident when she is only eight years old. She is taken in with her brother by her aunt. As she grows up between first loves and teenage friendships, an immense void remains in her. Who is she? The orphan? The Ukrainian? The young girl who loves stories? Twenty years later, as she returns to Normandy, she embarks on an investigation into what has enabled her survival: language, literature, and writing. A poignant story about these inner continents that we inhabit and that inhabit us."
