As part of the Villerupt Italian Festival, these two films will be screened at the Kufa on November 10.
- 5:30 p.m. screening: Sulla Terra Leggeri
Gian (Andrea Renzi), 65, a professor of ethnomusicology, has just lost his wife and is suffering from amnesia. His daughter Miriam (Sara Serraiocco), whom he does not recognize, comes to stay with him. She tries to help him by showing him old photos and notebooks. There, he remembers a certain Leila (Lise Lomi) whom he was supposed to see again in Tunis on October 8, 1983, but she never came. Gian reconstructs his lost memories.
- 8:30 p.m. screening: Campo di Battaglia
1918, the war is coming to an end, the fighting is intensifying. In a military hospital, doctors Stefano (Gabriel Montesi) and Giulio (Alessandro Borghi) disagree on how to treat the wounded. A new nurse, Anna (Federica Rosellini), arrives in the midst of tensions, while a contagious disease requires new sanitary measures.
