For this year's exhibition 'YLA Vol.4', we showcase the work of 21 young artists from Luxembourg, including 20 who have participated in one of the three previous editions of YLA (2021-2023), and one new addition. Our objective is to reconnect with the artists who have made an impact on YLA in the past, highlighting the evolution and changes in their work. This initiative aims to create new opportunities for interaction, fostering relationships between the artists, as well as with our audience and collectors.
The exhibition features a diversity of mediums, such as painting, photography, sculpture, and installations. YLA (Young Luxembourgish Artists) is inspired by the dynamic and experimental spirit of the 'Young British Artists'. Founded in 2021, YLA was born out of a desire to support and highlight the diverse talents of emerging artists from Luxembourg.
This year's exhibition includes nine artists, all born between the 1980s and 1990s, who have completed their studies in plastic arts or visual arts, often abroad due to limited options in Luxembourg.
