Once again, for this gala evening, FLI has gone all out! We will have the pleasure of welcoming the Compagnie qui pétille with their improvised show FREAKS, featuring Céline Camara, Mélissa Motheu, Meng Wang, and Peggy Pexy Green (artistic director). A show that received a standing ovation in Paris and Brussels and tours francophone Europe.
FREAKS? Because of an invisible or obvious difference, something I feel or that others reflect back at me, I feel out of place, beside where I “should” be. Whether I am gay, tall, large, overly emotional, black, white, shy, have an accent, spots, no kids, too many kids, or anything else, I always have something different! FREAKS touches where it hurts, with humor and sincerity, to tell improvised stories of 'difference' sometimes authentic, sometimes surreal.
An engaging approach where emotions and sharing between improvisers, all driven by their own differences, and the audience bring a unique show about unique people, for a unique evening. You are unique, come!
