► SCRED CONNECTION
Born in the 18th arrondissement of Paris in the late 1990s, Scred Connexion has established itself as a symbol of authenticity in French rap. Led by members such as Koma, Mokless, Morad, Haroun and Fabe, the collective advocates conscious rap, true to its motto: "Never in the trend, always in the right direction."
With their album Du mal à s'confier (2001) and initiatives such as the Scred Festivals, the group remains a reference in the underground, mixing values of sharing and committed music. Still active, they embody independence and sincerity in hip-hop.
► HOBIWAN
Hobiwan, nicknamed "the freshest guy on earth", is a Belgian rapper from Liège. His style, rooted in the heritage of rap from the 90s-2000s, is inspired by essentials like IAM and Booba, while modernizing it brilliantly. His visuals and punchlines are striking in their creativity, often tinged with humor and second degree. His lyrics, full of experience and ego trip, reveal his personal experiences and the reflections of his generation.
► MADZ x MAXIMUMMINIMUM
In a very old-school boombap universe, "Madz x Maximumminimum" is a duo composed of a beatmaker and an MC. Accompanied by his Mashine Mk2, Maximumminimum, conductor of this duo offers a sound all his own, influenced by his two years spent in Dakar. As for Madz, MC with a rhythmic and sharp flow, he will serve you his best lyrics with emotion and generosity.
