The commission for culture and intercultural coexistence of Weiler-la-Tour invites you to a concert with the duo Shane McGowan & David Munnelly. Dave Munnelly is a virtuoso on the diatonic accordion with a repertoire including traditional music from his native Ireland, as well as European music and his own compositions. He has played with Niamh Parsons, The Chieftains, De Dannan, and the Accordion Samurai (including Riccardo Tesi, Markku Lepistö, Simone Bottasso, and Kepa Junkera). Shane McGowan is a sought-after guitarist. He has been playing with Dave for twelve years, but has also played with groups like Slide, Geraldin MacGowan, and the John Carty Festival Band.
