Emmanuel GREGOIRE, Francis Bacon. Let's open the triptychs!
Emmanuel GRÉGOIRE embarked on a teaching career after achieving his degree and teaching qualification in Art History, Archaeology, and Aesthetics. He teaches diverse groups: primary and secondary students, higher education students, and adults in evening courses. He provides courses in social promotion and in a higher art school, notably at IMEP - Institut Royal Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie in Namur. As a curator of exhibitions, he often involves his music students in artistic projects.
Francis Bacon, a renowned British painter born in 1909 in Dublin and deceased in 1992 in Madrid, is known for his triptychs. He is recognized for his violent and tragic works, inspired by his friends and artists such as Diego Vélasquez, Vincent van Gogh, or Pablo Picasso. His tortured portraits include figures like Michel Leiris and Mick Jagger.
