The dance of Isadora Duncan is the dance of the ocean. She grew up by the Pacific, breaking away from school and any form of teaching, learning from a young age to dance to the rhythm of the waves! Inspired by her love of ancient Greece, she left her hometown of San Francisco to bring a renewal of dance to the world and pursue her revolutionary ideal: making art and beauty accessible to all. Her vibrant and whimsical life, marked by travels, successes, as well as tragedies, her rejection of the norms of her time and her tragic death continue to fascinate and inspire nearly a century after her death. Sa vie aims to introduce this extraordinary personality, a free and wild woman whose ideals and dance still resonate and inspire today.
