Upon entering the grand hall, visitors to the new exhibition are introduced to a blend of printed texts, documents, objects under glass, mechanical devices, audio recordings, films, projections, infographics, and interactive screens. This diverse media selection ensures enjoyment for all audiences.
To further enrich the experience and give voice to those who lived through challenging times, audio testimonies accompany each panel of the historical exhibition, accessible via smartphone QR codes.
While the exhibition mainly follows a thematic approach, two timelines on the ground and first floors allow interested visitors to delve into historical details.
Brief biographies offer visitors insights into the individuals who played significant roles. This is the essence of the biographical niches in the grand hall, available for discovery before or after exploring the main historical exhibition. These 11 niches feature 28 historical figures and 16 current Luxembourg residents sharing their stories as victims, civilians, or actors.
