The National Museum of Resistance and Human Rights, located at Place de la Résistance, Esch-sur-Alzette, presents a new exhibition consisting of printed texts, documents, objects in showcases, mechanical devices, recordings, films, projections, infographics, and interactive screens. This mix of media allows all audiences to benefit from the visit.
To complement the exhibition and give a voice to those who lived through this difficult time, the panels of the historical exhibition are accompanied by audio testimonies accessible via QR codes with a smartphone.
Although the exhibition mainly follows a thematic thread, two timelines on the ground and first floors enable interested visitors to dive into the details of history.
Visitors can discover short biographies of individuals directly involved in historical events, featuring 28 historical figures and 16 residents of present-day Luxembourg in 11 biographical niches.
