Closing of the Exhibition Boogie
We are excited to invite you to the closing of the exhibition Boogie on Easter Monday, to celebrate and enjoy a multisensory experience. "Fare la scarpetta", meaning in Italian "to make the little shoe", is a gesture performed after eating a delicious meal. The bread dances on the plate's surface, improvising its march and collecting the best bites of the meal. It is a gesture of appreciation and a pictorial event. Through a playful performance, guests will be gathered around sauces crafted by the artist duo Candice Chemel and Raphaël-Bachir Osman, exploring the cross-transversality of their practices along with a concerto of eclectic plates. The bread, meant to be broken and shared, will be the tool for this gustatory and pictorial interaction, an invitation to tasting. Renata Kambarova, an artistic researcher and contemporary flutist, will perform the composition commissioned to become the soundtrack for Boogie. This event concludes where artist Stephen Korytko's caravan opened the journey and where artists David Bernstein, Jules Maillot, Christine Sun Kim, and Nicholas Vargelis traveled.
