A strategic crossroads of the military policy of the Principality of Liège, the Hut fortress has been the focus of numerous modern wars between foreign powers present in the region. It was used as a political prison in 1848, a disciplinary camp, a regimental school, a visit to the Fort allows you to understand the living conditions of the prisoners and the population under the Occupation.
