With the program "The Heyoka in Me", Joe Del-Toe brings his first solo show as a clown to the stage. In this clownish play, he puts together a repertoire of his collected ideas. A collection of funny and emotional curiosities that are sure to provoke a reaction. From an imaginary but annoying fly that follows him to magic tricks that don't go as planned to his musical skills, there is something for everyone. He doesn't just want to show all this, he wants to take his audience into his world.
Not a clown in the classic sense with a red nose, oversized shoes and a colorful wig, but rather a human being who can fully develop in the clown's performance and let the audience participate. His ambition but also his vulnerability become visible, which he can find great amusement. In addition, the clown, with his absolute openness and receptiveness, offers his audience a game of give and take. Because for him, the so-called fourth wall in the theater does not exist.
In addition to poetry, slapstick, accordion playing, quirky humor, a wild fly and amateur hat juggling, an idiosyncratic suitcase and much more, Joe invites them all to an entertaining evening.
