Alongside the show Astor Piazzola: Tango Passion!, we are offering a workshop dedicated to the emblematic dance of Argentina: the tango. Dancers Dante and Monik Dominguez will guide you to get started or improve your practice. Classes will be held in French and Spanish, with the possibility of assistance in English.
Beginner level – 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
This beginner tango workshop is open to all, regardless of age or level. You will discover the essentials of Argentine tango, including the abrazo (embrace), walking, connection and space management on the dance floor.
Intermediate/advanced level – 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
For those who already have a technical knowledge of tango, this intermediate/advanced workshop will allow you to deepen your skills. Led by Dante and Monik Dominguez, this class will focus on giros, sacadas and musical interpretation, both melodic and rhythmic.
