Short film
Paul, a young record store owner, leads an isolated life in his back room converted into a bedroom. When Laura, an employee of the neighboring bakery, comes to order a vinyl from him, he develops an obsession for her. But poor social skills and a shifted perception of reality prevent him from seeing that the young woman is not interested in him. And since Laura's order doesn't arrive on time, Paul chases her to a party to make amends. It is then that events take a dramatic turn. After the screening there will be a round table with the Luxembourg director Fränk Grotz. After studying performing arts in France, Fränk Grotz explores the world of cinema as a critic and responsible for programming before devoting himself exclusively to production. His filmography includes D'Schueberfouer, an experimental short film studying the habits of amateur filmmaking, as well as Ad vitam aeternam, a short documentary film on the life of a taxidermist. He also played in the web series W., a supporting role which earned him a nomination at the TO Webfest in Toronto in 2023.
