neimënster will host the flagship exhibition Poesia by Gust Graas, shown in Majorca at the beginning of 2024 with a dazzling number of 11,000 visitors. After his long career in Luxembourg: by day, director of RTL and by night, passionate artist, Gust Graas dedicated the next 3 decades of his life to painting on this enchanting island. His canvases exude the Mediterranean – lightness and brightness, eye-pleasing journeys. New impressions amaze, a symphony of bright colors! Even gray, under the burning sun, glistens like ancient silver. And this resplendent Mediterranean blue, omnipresent here, becomes a central color in his works. Gust Graas notes in his artist's notebook: "I seek to express this joy of living and the metamorphosis of nature with an open heart. Abstraction in my painting opens the doors to a magical universe filled with poetry." Andreu Aguiló, director of the Pollença Museum, marvels at this "artist's gaze, which gives his visual poetry a mysterious and enchanting aura." Timeless, Gust Graas will continue, for centuries to come, to captivate souls in search of positive and benevolent energy. Poesia... simply!
