Welcome to Pompeii, the eternal city buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. This virtual journey, led by the archaeologist and tour guide, and owner of Grand Tour Experience, Raffaele Romano, will take you through the streets of this spectacular ancient city, exploring the Forum, Basilica, and the remains of the Macellum, the Roman market where some casts of the eruption victims are housed. After the public section, Raffaele will show you the most famous 'domus' of Pompeii, the House of the Faun with its magnificent mosaics and gardens. At the end of the virtual visit, there will be time for curiosities and questions.
Good to know
Following the event, there will be a tasting of scialatelli with anchovy sauce, a typical product of the area with origins dating back to the Romans. Punctuality is strongly recommended as the archaeological site closes at 19:00.
