A cinematographic, musical, and literary exploration of the rich culture of Iran.
The program begins with the screening of an emblematic documentary film of Iranian culture in the presence of the director Ayat Najafi. **No Land’s Song (2014)**, a revealing documentary on the struggle for female freedom of expression through music in Iran, will be presented with an introduction and a discussion led by the director.
The day concludes with the concert **Nachtmusik**, offering a musical and literary exploration through eras and cultures. Performers Georg Nigl (Baritone), Alexander Gergelyfi (Clavichord), and Ulrich Noethen (Reciter) present musical works by Henry Purcell, Giulio Caccini, and Claudio Monteverdi, accompanied by poems of the revered Iranian poetess, Forough Farrokhzad.
