House dance is a social dance based on house music, blending salsa, capoeira, tap dancing, bboying and more. It emerged in the 1970s and 1980s in clubs in Chicago and New York City. House dance is improvised and emphasizes fast, complex steps, with bouncing and floor movements.
HOUSE DANCE INITIATION WITH DIMEY
>7:30-8:30 p.m. Learn the fundamentals of House Dance with Dimey, a renowned dancer and teacher in the Grand-Est region! Suitable for all levels, including beginners.
OPEN FLOOR HOUSE DANCE
>8:30pm-10:00pm The Open Floor House Dance is a dance jam where you can practice freely and dance to house music. It is a "safe space" where amateurs and professionals meet to share a friendly moment together, sometimes with a DJ.
