LUCA, with curator and researcher Marija Marić, is organising, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the international symposium 'Off-Earth. A Critical Reading of Resources, Infrastructures, and Commons', which is a continuation of the work undertaken by the curators of the Luxembourg Pavilion at the 18th International Architecture Biennale in Venice (2023).
This symposium will bring together international architects, historians, geographers and artists who work critically on questions of extraction beyond Earth. It will present fragments of the Venice exhibition, including the film
“Cosmic Market,” directed by Armin Linke, as well as a conversation with the artist.
This symposium will result in the publication of a series of essays in collaboration with the e-flux platform.
