The Äerdschëff association, a pioneer in the promotion of eco-responsible and sustainable practices, is proud to present its first theatrical production "L'Éveil des Forces du MAL", a daring show that combines personal introspection and ecological commitment.
The Awakening of the Forces of Evil immerses the viewer in the inner and outer journey of Joana, a young woman on the threshold of a promising career, suddenly devastated by the loss of her aunt. This personal grief is accompanied by a poignant awareness of the environmental crisis that threatens her world. By navigating between her inner struggles and collective challenges, the play explores how grief and the ecological crisis are intimately linked.
Through Joana's relationships with her cousin, her brother and her best friend, the play highlights human dynamics in moments of vulnerability. Each character embodies a different facet of the human experience, whether solidarity, confrontation or resilience, allowing the audience to identify with Joana's ordeals.
A committed and deeply symbolic show
Blending reality and fantasy, The Forces of Evil Awakens uses immersive scenography to reflect Joana's emotional states. The stage is divided in depth to represent the heroine's consciousness, while the background symbolizes the fears and anxieties she refuses to confront. As Joana comes to terms with her trauma, the background merges with the foreground, illustrating her path to reconciliation.
