? Who will win the John Ash Trophy in 2024? ? The John Ash trophy is a contest unique to the Bossuet Gaveliers Toastmasters Club. John Ash was a regular visitor of the Bossuet Gaveliers in the late 60s. ? In 1970, he donated a silver trophy to the Club, on the condition that club members compete for the trophy each year with speeches on the topic of International Communication, International Relations or International Cooperation. ? The winner is given custody of the trophy for one year. Last year's winner, Dirk Stockmans, will chair this year's contest and hand the trophy to the 2024 John Ash winner. Join us on 13 November 2024 to find out who will take home this unique trophy for the next year!
Good to know
You can participate in person at the Aléo Restaurant in Beggen. The menu choices will be circulated closer to the date, and we will ask you to choose yours via a form by the Sunday evening before we meet (the full price is EUR 29.5, main course, dessert, wine and water included). Alternatively, you can join us online via ZOOM.us with the usual credentials.
