NAUSICAA is a dialogue between two like-minded musicians, Simona Severini and Jacopo Ferrazza, who, after years of knowing each other, decide to cross their artistic paths. NAUSICAA represents the coexistence of two distinct attitudes, the relationship between the song form and jazz, between structure and improvisation, between momentum and intimacy. The repertoire consists of songs of their own composition conceived for this project, songs by Joni Mitchell and other composers, reworked through a minimal sound but with great expressive power.
