A little girl dreams of a boat to go in search of an unknown island and her father, who has long since disappeared. The old captain Yvan accompanies the child in this quest for the impossible and teaches her that one can sail on land as well as on sea, that one must always remain firm in life and keep one's dreams in mind. Together, they embark on a journey full of adventure and poetry, where the boundaries between worlds fade.
