Begin 2025 with new friends and fresh connections! We know how challenging it can be to make new friends as adults, but we’re here to make it easy. Join us for an evening of fast-friending in a relaxed, welcoming environment where meeting like-minded people feels natural and fun.
Fast friending is the perfect way to meet new people in the city while enjoying a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Designed as the ultimate icebreaker, it lets you connect through one-on-one conversations that encourage meaningful and authentic interactions!
Here’s how our Fast Friending works:
- We will meet at 7.00 and have time to settle down and get a drink. All members can enjoy a buy 1 get 1 free drink offer on purchase of their first drink! (soft drink, beer 30cl, or house wine)
- From about 7.30 to 8.30 we will run the fast friending system. Half of the group (mixed gender) will stay in a fixed place and the other half (mixed gender) will be asked to rotate. During these intervals, each pair of people will get the opportunity to talk to each other.
- Silvia will be hosting the evening and will organize the fast friending process. She will indicate when you should move to the next person.
- From 8.30 onwards we will stop the system and people will have the chance to chat and interact with those they have met as well as others.
Our venue for the evening - Updown Bar is spacious, has comfortable seating and is not very noisy. We have a reserved area where our members can meet each other in a supportive environment.
