The Decalogue (Dekalog) is a 1988 series of ten psychological television films directed by Krzysztof Kieślowski, based on a screenplay he wrote with Krzysztof Piesiewicz, and produced by Telewizja Polska and Zespół Filmowy "Tor". The first episode to air was Decalogue X on 24 June 1989; subsequent films in the series aired between 10 December 1989 and 29 June 1990. Two of the Decalogue television films—Decalogue V and Decalogue VI—were released in extended theatrical versions under the titles Points to Kill and A Brief History of Love in 1988.
