Markus Sowa, Architect and Board Member of the Munich-based Kooperative Grossstadt, will share insightful reflections about innovative cooperative housing initiatives in Munich. Established in 2015 by sixteen individuals, Kooperative Grossstadt focuses on creating collective, community-centered housing solutions with an emphasis on ambitious architectural standards and sustainability. To date, two residential projects, San Riemo and Freihampton, have been completed, while two more are currently in planning. This lecture is organized by LUCA in the context of the exhibition 'Our New Housing – An Invitation to Cooperate'.
