Discover the exciting history of the first Glacis chapel, from its construction in 1625 to its rediscovery in 2016.

In this conference where archaeology and history come together, you will find out what the small, inconspicuous chapel has experienced and how science can help answer questions here. It is not only about the architecture and why archaeology is so important, even though history has already been written, but also about the discovery of graves, which, among other things, provide an interesting insight into the socio-economic context of 18th-century Luxembourg.
Join us on a journey that takes us from Father Brocquart and his comforter, through military history among the French, to the new Luxembourg tram.
