An immersion in the world of agriculture and food production!
On May 11, 2025, LUGA Nordstad will be inaugurated with a friendly farmers’ market on the Däichwisen in Ettelbruck. On this occasion, regional producers will showcase the richness and diversity of their high-quality products. Before diving into the six-month-long exhibition and exploring the behind-the-scenes world of food production, the market invites visitors to discover the variety of Luxembourg’s agriculture, meet the women and men behind the products — and of course, enjoy their specialties.
The official opening of LUGA Nordstad will also mark the inauguration of the Sentier Urbain Agricole (Agricultural Urban Trail) in Ettelbruck: an inspiring themed walk inviting visitors to explore agricultural projects, urban gardens, as well as landscape and artistic installations.

- A lively and eclectic musical program on the Däichwisen Stage
- A farmers’ market to discover the richness of Luxembourg’s terroir through a selection of stands hosted by regional producers.
- A food village
- Many activities: crop-growing demonstrations, open-air concerts, street performances...
Good to know
LUGA is an open-air exhibition that will be taking place from 7 May to 18 October 2025. The ephemeral exhibition will take over five emblematic sites in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: the Edouard André municipal park, the Alzette valley, the Pétrusse valley, the Kirchberg as well as the town of Ettelbruck in the Nordstad. LUGA invite you to discover the city through a variety of scenic trails, offering moments of relaxation amidst vibrant gardens, enchanting agricultural landscapes, and a wealth of leisure and social spaces.
