Here are the points to remember about current local life in Luxembourg ➡️
C I N E M A: the movie theaters will remain empty until June 17 SNIFF 😢... despite the government's authorization to go back to their activity! Health restrictions are there...1,2,3 ACTIONS 🎬 a limited number of seats, social distancing, online ticket sales only, etc..
In the meantime, you can go to the drive-in cinema or even watch "Dynasty" on Netflix, the new season has just come out and it's 🔥, 🔥, 🔥 !
N I G H T L I F E: the night lovers will have to hold their body a little bit more, shhhh... you hear that... yes yes it's the dancefloor calling you... But due to the current situation, clubs, discos, and other party animal places should remain closed for the moment.... No worries, the hard part's already over. However, some good local addresses like Hitch, have been able to rearrange most of their outdoor spaces to better welcome you my child!
There is also a virtual club that has just been launched in Belgium, the idea is simple: good music, a drink, chit-chat with friends and everything happens online.
R E S T A U R A N T: the government has authorized tables of 10 people yeaaaah. As a reminder, since the end of the lockdown, the maximum number of people allowed on the same table was 4. However, some continue to offer takeaways or delivery services for spaces that are a little too small. It's up to you to see what makes you happy (make your choice here).
T E R R A C E: a real pleasure for the post lockdown! Finally, you can go for lunch outside here ☀️, have a drink with a breathtaking view here or have dinner with Darling. But some restrictions remain: tables for a maximum of 10 people, 1.5 m separation between each table, otherwise, a barrier has to be set, etc... etc...(you know the song, no need to insist right ?!).
S H O P P I N G: the shops are ready to welcome you and we're here to help you have an unforgettable shopping journey. If you want to find some exclusive items to match the new summer trend: the mask 😷, you can check out our selection of local concept stores.
Ps: last shot on sanitary measures: you can't stay more than 30 minutes in a shop, no fitting of clothes in the booths and hand disinfection before entering the shop is mandatory.
P O O L: if you want to paddle, only d'Coque is open but the reservations to go swimming are closed. For the other swimming pools, they will only open their doors from July, 15th. You will have to wait a little more before going back there with the lil' one.
P L A Y G R O U N D: they are open! As well as the outdoor fitness workout areas.
We are still waiting for information for all cultural gatherings, but we know that the government has relaxed the rules for gatherings of less than 20 people (indoor and outdoor). We're on the lookout, and as soon as we know more, you'll be informed very quickly!
Stay safe and contactless kiss 'Miros 😘
