What about you, do you know the legend of Mélusine? Put on your walking shoes and follow in the footsteps of Count Siegfried and his wife, Mélusine, along the Grund. Pass by the ramparts, walk along the Alzette, discover Neumünster Abbey and take a photo with the statue of Mélusine, created by artist Serge Ecker.
After this short hike, head back up along the corniche to take in the panorama and quench your thirst on one of the city's finest terraces, the De Gudde Wëllen bar, located in the Rue du Saint Esprit! It's the perfect place to settle down after walking up the valley (yes, you can also take the Saint-Esprit elevator if you're feeling lazy 🤭).
Settle down at one of the many tables and enjoy a craft beer or chilled cocktail with a breathtaking view of the neighborhood. In the evenings, you can even enjoy live music, with local live bands 🎸
