Eat Your Neighbourhood Workshop - Rosehip Berry Edition
Come and make jelly from the berries of the wild rose in our gardens.
On Sunday, November 24, at 1pm, MESA will host a workshop titled "Eat Your Neighbourhood", where jelly will be made from rosehips.
Why rosehips? Rosehips have long been known for their medicinal properties, particularly due to the B vitamins and vitamin C naturally present in the fruit. The flowers of the berries are used in cosmetics, but also in phytotherapy for their astringent properties. For all the reasons mentioned above, this berry, found all around us, is a natural goldmine for our bodies.
To prepare for the workshop, please bring your own jars. If you can't make the pick-up, please bring your berries anyway.
The 3-hour workshop is free of charge, but you can register directly on this page.
